Composting is here!
We’re excited to roll out our brand new composting boxes! Now all compostable waste at Dog Dayz Café will be transformed into invaluable fertilizer to enrich soil and grow more life. This is one of many steps Dog Dayz is taking to help people, pets, and planet to become healthy, happy, and healed!
WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED SEVERAL ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES AT THE CAFÉ:
- Compostable Cups, Lids, Straws, and To-Go Containers: We use compostable cups, lids, and straws, as well as compostable to-go containers to reduce plastic waste and promote eco-friendly alternatives.
- Compost Bin: We have started a compost bin to properly dispose of organic waste, contributing to waste reduction and the creation of nutrient-rich compost.
- Organic Purchases: Whenever possible, we purchase organic ingredients for our menu items to support sustainable farming practices and promote environmental health.
- Boxed Waters: We offer boxed waters as a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic bottles, contributing to our efforts to minimize plastic waste.
- In House Creations: We try to curate as much as possible in house!
